I really like the weekly design challenge hosted by Spoonflower, it inspires me to create new designs every week following a specific theme that I might not think of. Also the very talented Spoonflower’s community is great for support and motivation.
This week the theme was anything large scale black and white, viewed on wallpaper for voting purposes.
I started my design as usual with a black ink fine marker and white paper, then I scan the drawings and elaborate them graphically with Illustrator and Photoshop.
I am pleased with the result. It is important for me to create a design that would look good across a range of surfaces.
