Hi, my name is Mariangela and I am a surface designer from Italy living between Spain and England. I like to transform my simple drawings into patterns. I take my inspiration from nature and everyday items. I start drawing with ink pens and them manipulate the originals digitally.
I am a hands on designer in a way that I like to actually make things from my designs as well as applying them to items such as bed linen, wallpaper and stationery.
I like to explore new techniques and experiment with all sorts of material. I also like to mix the new with the old and I am a keen upcycler.
This blog is the place where I bring all my projects together, from my new designs and products to my latest experiments.
